Just as in the past year, the International Security, Safety and Fire Exhibition constitutes the largest venue for the assembly of professionals from the security world.
At its last event, SICUR welcomed 585 direct exhibitors in over 34,000 net square metres, an 18% increase. All sectors saw significant growth, Safety and Hygiene at Work by 23%; Fire Prevention, Detection and Extinction by 20%; and Security by over 7%.
The Safety and Hygiene at Work sector, which has been growing considerably in the last editions of the trade fair - 52% in 2004 and 23 % in 2006, and which assembled in 2006 a total of 239 direct exhibitors, will surely continue to grow in 2008, as it will be located in halls 2, 4 and 6, with 22% more exhibition space than in 2006. As a result, SICUR is launching a new trade mark in this next edition: SICUR PROLABOR.
